Cumulative Incidence Function
The Cumulative Incidence Function (CIF) is a measure used in survival analysis to estimate the probability of a specific event occurring before a given time point in the presence of competing risks. It accounts for the occurrence of events other than the one of interest that may prevent the event of interest from happening.
