Interrupted Aortic Arch
Rare congenital cardiovascular defect in which a small section of the ascending aorta is absent; will often become apparent after closure of the ductus arteriosis when there is not means for oxygenated blood to get to the descending aorta; often occurs in conjunction with VSD or other congenital cardiac anomalies
