PPH
Postpartum Hemorrhage: Early PPH is defined as ≥ 1000 ml blood loss with signs/symptoms of hypovolemia in 24 hours after birth (includes intrapartum blood loss) regardless of mode of delivery. Blood loss of 500 – 900 ml does not meet definition, but may still require increased supervision and interventions as needed based on clinical assessment. (Based on ACOG 2014 revitalize definitions).
